Looking at the topic of this post, I know some of you in your minds are thinking "Andy is leaving for Penang tomorrow already", Yes I am leaving for Penang tomorrow, but it's only for a one day trip. Haha, tomorrow is actually the enrolment and orientation day for the students. Until lunch time when we can come back already. After tomorrow, I will be going back to Penang on the 3rd(Sunday) to move into my hostel. 4th will be the first day of class. I am looking forward to going Penang but there are several things I would miss during my time there. Firstly it would be my *ahem*, if you know what it is, secondly my bed. You know speaking bout this bed thingy. I will miss my bed here at home. It's because I am sleeping alone on a KING size bed now and when I move to Penang I will be sleeping on a SINGLE bed. Not much space for me to roll about already. Haha. The good thing is, I am sharing my room with Navin, YEAH MAN, friends for life. Although he is Indian and I am Chinese, but we are close friends, we live in a multiracial community man. *WOOOOoooooo*
OK, what have I been doing lately. You will find this part of the post quite similar to JEFFERY's BLOG. This is because we two are on a same project now. Erm... I think it's still P&C to talk bout it in detailed right here. But whatever it is, it's enjoying and challenging at the same thing doing this 'thingy'. Hey, I don't sound gay do I?. Haha. Ok, so, we both are working on something like this

Like I said, this thing here is nice to work on, BUT currently, Jeffery and I is facing one problem with this 'project'. I can say this problem that we are facing is 'nonsense'. Don't even know how, where and when it came about. Thanks to this problem, it made our work tougher but it won't matter much, just that we have to do TWICE the work~!!!
Ok, I know my speed is slow but I am using a 512KBPS line. It has been a great day for me yesterday(22/04). Nothing bout my life, but it's about my INTERNET CONNECTION. Finally I get to torrent and surf the net at the same time. It has been a long time since I last torrented. I get to finish a 700mb file within one day with torrent and without interruptions on my net surfing. Normally before this, I can either torrent or surf the net only but now~!! It was such a great feeling for me. I guess tmnut have not been able to throttle the latest version of utorrent yet. Haha, I hope this can continue. ALTHOUGH MY SPEEDS ARE SLOW( It's fast now, I am gaining full speed and I am very happy with it). BUT I AM HAPPY WITH IT. I am gonna torrent more as I am able to do so now. It feels so nice to torrrent again. TORRENTS~!!! HERE COMES ANDY~!!! Phew~!!!
I am too excited now, gaining full speed with torrents and not having any interruptions at all on my net surfing, wonderful, first time in the history of my internet connection.
I was trying to download a file which I was trying to download since 2 weeks ago ( Men don't Cry episode 5) and the speed will always be stuck in 2kbps. 5 minutes agoI thought of giving it a shot and downloaded the same file again and this is was the speed.
I was suffering with the slow internet connection for the past few weeks and all of a sudden today I am gaining all the speeds back? Is tmnut being good for a day or something? I hope this speed will last. There are loads of stufs more I would wanna download~!!
I went to INTI yesterday for its Open Day and just to check out on the hostel, payment and course structures as well as the job prospects. The building there is new, according to one of the lecturers there, the new block was only opened march last year and now everyone studies in the new block. INTI is not big. It consists of only one 6 Stories block. The hostel is only 5 minutes walk away from the college. The hostels. comments, good enough. =) nothing more. Didn't spend much time there touring cause it's only one building. Just went around to look at it's lecture rooms, exam room and labs. This college is made up of 90% chinese students. Yesterday I went there and there were two students guiding us around and there were from CHINA and when they speak english they have a SLANG. How nice is that? I would like to have english slang. LOL. I think I am gonna enjoy my time there. What to say, the Queensbay Mall is near to the college. That mall is big enough for me to walk and spend my past time there. Haha, you don't know how big it is? Maybe 3 quater of the size of 1 utama in KL. Haha.
I took a booklet describing bout my course syllabus and course structures. For me, those syllabus in my program sounds great, but does the subject names correspond to the contents That's my question. HAHA. I have 6 semesters altogether in my course and 4 subjects per semester
Oh by the way I am taking Diploma in E&E Engineering. Some might ask, why diploma? Wait wait...Chill... After Diploma I will be furthering my studies for the Degree programme. Haha. After that, if I can still study on or shall I say IF I still have the will to study, I would wanna top up another year for Masters degree. HAHAHA. There are actually some programmes whereby I can transfer to overseas to continue my studies by paying MALAYSIAN FEES. How cool is that? You pay the study fees in RM but you study in overseas, of course the lodging would be the matter then but it's still worth it. This is only available in INTI. Haha, and I won't be doing so even if I want to cause I won't have this amount of financial support.
Lets JUMP to the final plannings. I will be going to Penang on the 29th of April this month to register and attend the orientation. After that I am coming back to Ipoh and will be going back again on the 3rd probably to check in to the hostel and to get myself ready. 4th will be the first day of class. Oh yea, according to the lecturer there, my class so far has only 15 students. GREAT~!!
I am getting bored these days. I have nothing to do anymore. Haha. Always watching back the same old videos I have in my computer. ( not the ones you are thinking bout yea) =)
Getting to think bout this matter, I feel a lot like studying. It has been a break too long enough for me. I feel like studying. I feel like going to Penang but there are SOMETHINGS perhaps SOMEBODY whom I can't let go. Yea, when I go to Penang, I would be missing a lot of people and things in Ipoh. Here's what gonna happen next, this saturday I will be going down for INTI open day, on the 29th I will be going for registration and orientation and on the 4th my class shall start.
Aiya, I missed the school sports day today. I am not involved in anything regarding to sports day. But I wanted to go and check out the band’s performance. The problem is I missed the sports day cause I woke up late. Time for some stories. Sorry all who expected me to go but I didn’t turn up. I am here to apologize and to explain. What happened was, yesterday I was down in mood. I felt very down yesterday. Some of you might say, “WOW Andy no mood, the moon must be blue tonight”, but really, yeah I was down in mood. It’s really rare that I go emo mode but this time, it really striked me. Not gonna tell why I was in such mood but that mood made me sleep at 4am. Thanks to my cousin for accompanying me till 3am. I rolled on the bed for an hour before I got to sleep. Nobody’s fault. Just my own feelings. Whatever it was, I am back to normal again today. Wee~~, for those who never seen me down in mood before, too bad, u missed the once in a blue moon chance. Haha.
Ok what’s next. Erm, ya my studies. UTP application results came out today (SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION RESULTS) I failed. Haha, was expecting that cause even if I was a top scorer I would not be able to get it. Reason is because they only allow one member of the family to get that scholarship and my brother already had it. My intention was to apply for it, fail it and enter privately. I think my brother is helping me to get informations on how to enter privately. But for now, I am going to Penang. The hostel management of INTI called up few days back to inform me bout the room availibility. I paid my deposit. I will be having Navin as my roommate. Cool~!. Actually I have a little bit of feelings of going back for studies. But everytime when I have that feeling, I thought of something. “ Will E&E Engineering be hard? Can I cope with it?” Prayerfully I hope I can do it. I hope I would enjoy this course. I only have a rough idea of what I would be doing, but I don’t really know what is in depth. The key point it, I love electronics, I love tech and I love to explore more advance technologies. Why not IT? Haha, I would take IT as my part time studies where I could learn through experience.
Guys and Girls, Life is something nobody should miss. ( I don’t know what I am saying) but LIFE, it’s really a great journey full of experiences. Now that I am 18, I’ve gone through many loops of life. Let’s leave that to the nex post shall we??? OR maybe one day when I really have the will to type and express, it will be very fun.
